Ikhlas Halal Butcher

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These terms apply when you order from Ikhlas Halal Butcher ("we", "us", "our") through ikhlashalalbutcher.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them, together with our Delivery & Collection, Returns & Refunds, Subscriptions and Privacy policies, which form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Ikhlas Halal Butcher is a trading name of IKSH BFD LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17225785), registered office 26–28 City Road, Bradford BD8 8ER, United Kingdom. VAT registration number GB520605922. Phone 07479 462297. Email info@ikhlashalalbutcher.co.uk. We are a registered food business with Bradford Council, HMC-certified, and hold a Food Hygiene Rating of 5. Our website is hosted by Shopify.

2. Ordering

  • When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation email; a contract is formed at that point.
  • We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, the price or description was clearly wrong, your address is outside our delivery area, payment fails, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after payment we refund you in full.
  • Please check your order carefully before paying. Because everything is cut to order, changes and cancellations are only possible before we start cutting, see Returns & Refunds.
  • Orders are for personal and household use unless you have agreed a trade account with us. Bulk, catering and Qurbani orders are welcome but please ring first so we can plan them.
  • You must be 18 or over to place an order.

3. Our products

  • All meat is fresh, HMC-certified halal and prepared to order by our butchers. It is not frozen unless the listing says so. You may freeze it at home.
  • Meat is a natural product. Cuts, colour, fat cover and marbling vary from one animal to the next, and photographs are a guide to the cut rather than a promise of the exact piece you will receive.
  • Pack weights are targets. Hand-cut packs may vary slightly either side of the stated weight; whole birds and joints are sold at a typical weight. See Returns & Refunds for how we deal with short weight.
  • Where you have asked for a preparation (curry cut, boneless, minced, skin off, etc.) we follow your instructions as closely as we reasonably can. If we cannot, we will contact you before cutting.
  • Substitutions: if a cut is unavailable on the day we will contact you. For subscription boxes we substitute a like-for-like cut of equal or greater value, as set out in our Subscriptions policy.
  • Allergens: our meat is a single-ingredient product with no added allergens but is prepared in premises that also handle milk, mustard, celery and sulphites. Sausages, burgers, seasoned kebab mince and marinated items contain seasoning; ask us before ordering if you have an allergy. Packaged goods (for example the Mumtaz range) carry their own ingredient and allergen labels, which take precedence over anything on our site.
  • Food safety: keep meat refrigerated at 5°C or below, use within the time stated on the product page or freeze on arrival, and cook thoroughly. Once the goods are collected or delivered, storage and cooking are your responsibility.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling and are the same as our shop counter. We do not add an online premium. Most fresh meat is zero-rated for VAT; where VAT applies it is included in the price shown.
  • Local delivery within 7 miles is free, with a £25 minimum order for delivery. Click & Collect is free with no minimum. Any charge would be shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Prices can change without notice, but the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.
  • Payment is taken in full at checkout through Shopify's secure payment system. We never see or store your full card details.
  • If we discover an obvious pricing error we will contact you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

5. Delivery and collection

Set out in full in our Delivery & Collection policy. In short: free Click & Collect from City Road, usually ready in about 2 hours; local delivery by our own driver within 7 miles, in two daily runs, 1pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, Monday to Saturday. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you when you collect them or they are handed over at your address.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Set out in full in our Returns & Refunds policy. Fresh meat cut to order is perishable and is excluded from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, but you can cancel free of charge before we start cutting, and your right to goods of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always applies.

7. Subscriptions and pre-orders

Subscribe & Save boxes, Qurbani and whole-animal pre-orders are covered by our Subscriptions & Pre-orders policy.

8. Your account and information

You are responsible for keeping any account password secure and for the accuracy of the details you give us, in particular the phone number and delivery address, which our driver relies on. We use your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our liability

  • We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Subject to that, our liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (severe weather, road closures, supplier failure, illness), though we will tell you as soon as we can and refund anything we cannot supply.

10. Website content

The text, photographs, videos, recipes and branding on this site belong to Ikhlas Halal Butcher or our licensors. You may use the site for personal shopping and may share links to it, but you may not copy or reuse our content commercially without permission. We try to keep the site accurate but cannot promise it is free of errors; we may correct information, change products and cancel affected orders (with a full refund) where an error has occurred.

11. Reviews and feedback

If you send us a review, photo or comment you allow us to use it in our marketing, with your first name only unless you agree otherwise. You confirm it is your own and honest. We may decline to publish anything abusive or unlawful.

12. Relationship with Shopify

Ikhlas Halal Butcher is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Ikhlas Halal Butcher. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Ikhlas Halal Butcher, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Ikhlas Halal Butcher.

13. Complaints

If something is wrong, contact us first, phone, WhatsApp or email, and we will try to resolve it straight away. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a complaint you can contact Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk, 0808 223 1133) or your local Trading Standards service. We are not required to use an alternative dispute resolution provider but will consider it if asked.

14. General

  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there).
  • If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable the rest continues to apply.
  • We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you order is the one that applies to that order.
  • These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between us for your order.
