Halal Assurance
Halal Assurance
100% HMC-certified halal. Every animal is hand-slaughtered and independently monitored by the Halal Monitoring Committee from abattoir to our Bradford counter, and prepared to HMC requirements. Our shop is listed on the HMC website, see our HMC page for what the certification covers.

Full-flavoured HMC-certified halal mutton back chops (500g), cut fresh to order at our Bradford shop. Loin-end chops with a deep, rich flavour, best slow-cooked then charred. Delivered chilled across Bradford.
Where it comes from. Back chops, also called loin chops: from the loin between the ribs and the leg, with the T-shaped bone and the loin eye. Same place as on lamb, richer and firmer, so simmer rather than flash grill.
