Halal meat delivered to Halifax

Halifax town centre is six and a half miles from the shop in a straight line, which puts it inside our delivery zone even though the road is longer. Halifax covers HX1, HX2 and HX3. From the shop you get there over the top through Queensbury or out along the Halifax road; it is a proper drive, about 35 minutes by car. Our driver does the same trip twice a day, Monday to Saturday, so an order placed in the morning is on your doorstep the same afternoon, and an order placed by 5 is with you in the evening.

Nothing is pre-packed. Your order is cut after you place it, to the size you ask for, then vacuum-sealed and packed chilled for the van. Prices online are the counter prices, with no delivery charge and no online premium. See Delivery & Collection for the full details.

What to order for Halifax

Worth having in a Halifax basket: one big weekly order, whole chickens, a lamb leg, mutton and mince together, so one delivery does the week. Everything on the online counter is available: chicken, lamb, mutton and beef, plus goat, turkey and the Mumtaz marinades and masalas from the shop shelf. Say how you want it cut in the order notes: curry cut, boneless, minced from the cut you choose, chops thick or thin.

Halifax is the edge of what we cover. The checkout checks your postcode; central Halifax and the Bradford side of town are usually accepted, the far side of Halifax is not. The shop is at 26-28 City Road, Bradford BD8 8ER, open 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.

How delivery to Halifax works

• Build your order online and choose Local Delivery on the basket page. It checks your postcode against the seven-mile zone.
• Pick a day and a run: 1pm to 4pm (order by 12) or 6pm to 8pm (order by 5).
• We cut, weigh and pack it after you order, then message you when the driver is on the way.
• Someone needs to be in: fresh meat is not left on a doorstep.

All of it. Ikhlas is an HMC-certified outlet: chicken, lamb, mutton, beef, goat and turkey, cut to order at counter prices. The certificate is on the wall and the shop is on the HMC register.
