Why buy a whole lamb?

  • HMC-certified halal: independently monitored and fully traceable.
  • The cheapest way to buy lamb: far less per kilo than the same cuts bought separately.
  • Butchered to your instructions: five ways to have it cut, decided at checkout.
  • Every cut from one animal: racks, chops, leg, shoulder, shank and mince, all traceable to the same lamb.
  • Vacuum-sealed & delivered chilled: freshness locked in from Bradford to your door.

How it is cut

Choose the butchery option at checkout. If you are unsure, ring the shop and talk it through with the butcher before you order. It is easier to get right first time than to change it afterwards.

Standard curry cut: everything chopped on the bone into curry pieces. The most common choice.

Mixed: roasting joints and chops kept whole, the rest cut for curry. The best of both.

Tip: a whole lamb needs real freezer space. If you are not sure you have it, take the half.

Serving suggestions

Portion and label it as it comes out of the bag, roasts to one side, curry cuts to the other, and it will last a family months.

Frequently asked questions

How much meat will I get?

It varies by animal. Ring the shop before ordering if you need a firm weight, the butcher will tell you what is coming in that week.

Why does boneless cost more?

Boning out is a great deal more work, and you lose the bone weight. You get less in the bag, but all of it is meat.

Can I split it with family?

Yes, and many do. Take the whole and split it, or order a half each, the price per kilo is the same.

Is it fresh or frozen?

Butchered to order and delivered chilled, freeze at home what you are not using.
