HMC HalalDelivered ChilledCut to OrderLocal Delivery

Full-flavoured HMC-certified halal mutton chops (500g), cut fresh to order at our Bradford shop. Deeper and richer than lamb, ideal slow-cooked or grilled until tender. Delivered chilled across Bradford.

Where it comes from. Front chops, also called rib chops: one bone each from the rack behind the shoulder. Mutton is the same animal a year older, so the cut sits in the same place; expect more bone and fat in the slice and give it longer on the heat.

Pressure cooker: 25–30 minutes, then sear.

Grill: best after par-cooking, then char.

Tip: a splash of water in a covered tray keeps mutton moist.
