Why choose Ikhlas chicken necks?
- HMC-certified halal: independently monitored and fully traceable.
- Prepared fresh to order: from the chiller the day it goes out.
- The cheapest way to a real stock: far more flavour per pound than a carcass alone.
- A traditional cut: still asked for by the families who know what to do with it.
- Vacuum-sealed & delivered chilled: freshness locked in from Bradford to your door.
How to cook chicken necks
Necks are about long, slow extraction. Give them time and they repay it.
Stock: cover with cold water, bring to a bare simmer and hold for 2–3 hours. Skim once at the start.
Curry: brown them first, then simmer in the sauce for 45 minutes until the meat slips off.
Tip: roast them at 200°C for 20 minutes before they go in the pot. It deepens both the colour and the flavour.
Serving suggestions
Strain for a clear golden stock, or serve them on the bone for those who like to pick them.
