Halal Assurance
Halal Assurance
100% HMC-certified halal. Every animal is hand-slaughtered and independently monitored by the Halal Monitoring Committee from abattoir to our Bradford counter, and prepared to HMC requirements. Our shop is listed on the HMC website, see our HMC page for what the certification covers.

The kebab shop chutney, cool, herby and sharp, and the thing a seekh kebab is incomplete without. Made in Bradford by Mumtaz and stocked at our City Road counter, so it comes in the same bag as your meat.

Why we stock it
- Made in Bradford: by Mumtaz, the same city as the shop.
- The chip shop taste at home: this is the dip that comes with a kebab, not a supermarket approximation of it.
- Ready to serve: straight from the jar into a bowl.
- Halal throughout: suitable for a halal kitchen.
- Comes with the meat: add it to a counter order and it goes in the same bag.
How to use it
There is nothing to cook. The only thing that matters is temperature.
Serve: spoon it into a bowl and put it on the table.
Spread: through a wrap or a naan roll under the meat.
Chill: better cold than at room temperature, keep it in the fridge.
Tip: loosen it with a spoonful of yoghurt if you want it milder and creamier for children.
Goes well with
Lamb or chicken seekh kebabs, grilled chops, niblets and anything off the barbecue.
Ingredients & allergens
The full ingredient list and allergen declaration are printed on the pack. Recipes are set by Mumtaz and can change, so please read the label on the jar or tub you receive rather than relying on this page. Contact us before ordering if you have a specific allergy and we will check the current pack for you.
Keep in a cool, dry cupboard until opened. Once opened, refrigerate and use within the period stated on the jar.
